  • Mediocre performer, Pricey,
  • Very cool biometric finger swiping and FIPS 140-2 level 3 make this flash drive super secure. But it's expensive and only a median performer....

  • Tough metal design, Built-in biometrics, Drive can be partitioned for specific users
  • Expensive, Larger than most thumb drives, No backup software,
  • If you're looking for a secure and dependable thumb drive and don't mind a hefty price tag, the Imation Defender F200 might be what you're looking for.

  • Encrypted USB drive with government-validated biometric and password authentication. Administrator can recycle device for a new user or rescue user if authentication fails. Less costly than some similar biometric devices.
  • Making a change in the required authentication methods (fingerprint, password, or both) requires a complete reformat, as do many other configuration changes. Fully detachable cover easily lost.
  • 109 would be way too much for a plain 1 GB USB drive, but, when you add fingerprint-based authentication and multi-user management, it starts to sound like a deal. Imation's Defender F200+Bio drive protects your data using government-approved hardware...
